Introduction

In Sept 2005 I started posting ads on CL for my bobcat landscaping service and my pool draining service (here is a link to my YouTube video trying to get on to TV's Dirty Jobs) Our ads were being flagged down by my competitors (yes it does happen more than not) as I was undercutting the prices in the local market to gain market share (ah capitalism). My ads were getting flagged down 5-6 times a day and more left and right. I needed a way when I was in the field that my stay at home wife could repost my ads when they got flagged down. I created AdBomber myself out of necessity. When an ad got flagged down you get that email that says your ads has been flagged. I set up a laptop computer to check my email every 5 mins. The only mail account it checked was for my Craigslist ads so whenever a message came it was either someone wanting to hire me or someone flagging my ad down. So I set the email sound notification to play a loud .WAV file so my wife could hear it anywhere in the house. She would walk over to the computer and either call me with a potential customer or repost the ad. She did not want to have to log in to CL and go through all the steps to post ads so I had to make things really easy for her. If my bobcat ad needed to be republished all she had to do was hit F12, if it was for my pool draining service all she had to do was push F11 and away the script went. About 6 months later, a friend of mine was over and heard the laptop playing a tune while we were in the living room and said what is that... I explained what I had done. He was amazed at the simple nature of the whole thing and suggested I make a website and start selling the software. He was sure others would want something similar. So here we are. And here you are probably in a similar situation!

You say AdBomber is a script, not a program? that it works with Macro Express?

Yes AdBomber is a script a set of instructions for Macro Express a really nice shareware program that you can download and start using immediately. Think of the macro program as a word processor and my script a document, only when Macro Express opens up my script it tells your computer to go post ads. Watch it open web pages, move the mouse and copy and paste your information all into the ads and cities you told it to go to.

Why would I want your script rather than other commercial programs I see advertised for automated posting?

Well there is not really a real "commercial" program in this business, all these programs are developed by a hacker, guru or kid in the industry. A real commercial program implies a brick and mortar establishment behind what you are doing. and for gods sakes at least a phone number to contact them. You have got to ask yourself why hide behind email addresses and not publish a phone number. There is no brick and mortar "industry" these are people working out of garages in 3rd world countries. They hide behind PO Boxes and email drops. If there is ever a kink with a "commercial looking" program your out of luck, the system goes down and there is no one to call. I publish my phone number am USA based and actually take calls. Your dealing direct with the programmer. If you have issues I can sometimes even be of help over the phone and even with remote access to your terminal to see what is actually going on if you use the free program www.logmein.com. Our system is based with Macro Express as the controller so its REAL easy to make modifications if needed, you do not need to be a programmer.

Is your program hard to use?

Can you create a individual ad file in windows notepad? YES, AdBomber takes that info out and pastes in to the website automatically. Lets say you have 1 ad you want to post every other day, simply hit a hotkey, the script will go to your classified ad site, go to the category you want to post an ad in, fill in all the blanks. Want to post 2 ads, 3 etc... (please be responsible) you simply link them all together. It is not hard at all.

Can I post hundreds of ads daily?

Physically YES, several hundred not a problem, however we are not lawyers. You'll have to read the TOS at whichever site your posting to make that determination for yourself.

Is this a SPAM tool?

Absolutely NOT. AdBomber is designed to help you do what you already are doing, AdBomber reduces the number of keystrokes needed to post your ads, The use of AdBomber could actually help reduce your risk of carpel tunnel or other repetitive motion injuries. Whether you post 1 ad or 50, whether you post by hand or use a tool. We do not condone spamming, It is possible to stay within most TOS even posting multiple ads daily.

What is the difference between AdBomber v3 and the PRO2 version?

AdBomber v3 posts ads from individual text files, you write your ads then build your campaign by linking them together. The pro version is based out of a spreadsheet, its a bit more complicated but can let you have and organize hundreds of ads in a single spreadsheet. We use the free version of www.openoffice.org for our EXCEL compatible spreadsheet. Also we set up the PRO2 version for you on your computer while you watch the screen. We provide a onscreen tutorial session live and offer the remote setup via the FREE remote access package offered by www.logmein.com it is very similar to pc-anywhere or www.gotomypc.com .

If I get AdBomber v3 and later want to upgrade to the PRO version?

We do not penalize you for wanting to upgrade, simply pay the difference.

I am currently having a problem with My IP address being blocked?

Is your IP address blocked. We have 2 methods we recommend to get new IP addresses without using PROXIES as PROXIES do not work. If you use DSL you can reset your DSL modem similar to www.RemoteDSL.com's IP Blocking most DSL providers use PPPOE if so usually a reset of your modem will work. Or use Dial up as each time you log in and out you get a new IP Address, AdBomber can be made to do either of these. Cable modems to do not let you reset your IP address. I have a dial up internet company that charges $1 for 3 months of service and another that charges $4.95 per month. Do not use NetZero.

I am currently having a problem with Duplicate Ad errors?

What does the error say? DUPLICATE ad, so make your ad different! AdBomber is really a great tool, you can create as many different revisions of ads as you want and save them all to NOTEPAD.TXT files and use them at will. We can even show you how to do invisible text!

I am in India or the Philippines and my ads are getting deleted! Can you help?

If you are outside the country, your IP address gives away your location in the world and many sites will not let you post ads outside of your country. I'm sure you have tried many proxy services with no luck! You need a US based IP address bank. Sharing, Resale & Copyright?

I do believe people by habit including myself will non commercially share programs. I don't mind if you share it with (1) close legitimate friend or use it under one roof in your business establishment or have it on several computers in your home but I will only answer questions or provide tech support to the original purchaser. Do you want a solution that works really well? A solution that was written by a person you can actually talk to? A solution that can meet your needs and have open code so if you want to you can customize further to fit your specific needs without being a programmer? I'm not a genius, I'm a regular guy that had a need to be filled so I developed the script. I'm here for you. Heck with the PRO version I will even set it all up for you, how many other business will do that?
